Students are provided with quality practical training under real circumstances at our own Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul organisations.
We have our presence at six different airports/airstrips in Chhindwara, Ratlam, Hossur, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar for carrying out aviation activities and in Guna airport where we run flying club to give more exposure to the students.
All the training institutes of the group are equipped with world-class infrastructure with ample and necessary facilities. Aircraft engine shop, Aircraft Airframe Shop, Aircraft Instrument shop, Aircraft Radio shop, aircraft electrical shop etc. along with functional aircraft are positioned at each base.
Institute of Aeronautics & Engineering is currently offering two different courses in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering as per the DGCA guidelines.
This stream deals with the study on the maintenance of aircraft engines and structure. Students are required to attend a series of practical and theoretical examinations required by DGCA in Civil Aviation Requirement-66. Candidates who successfully clear all the exams are awarded with AIrcraft Engineering Licence in Category B1.1.
APPLYThis stream deals with the study of maintenance of aircraft instrument system, aircraft radio & navigation system and aircraft electrical system. Students are required to attend a series of practical and theoretical examinations required by DGCA in Civil Aviation Requirement-66. Candidates who successfully clear all the exams are awarded with AIrcraft Engineering Licence in Category B2.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is considered a reputed job and no doubt they earn a great salary too. When a candidate successfully completes Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from a good training institute, a whole bunch of career opportunities will
be waiting for him/her. Any airline company which provides air transport hires qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to check their aircraft before take off. They release the Flight Releasing Certificate (FRC) which states that the
aircraft is flight worthy.
Apart from airline companies, Maintenance, Repair and Overhauls (MRO) industries are popular for hiring well qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineering candidates. These industries who
do the maintenance and repair works of jet engines, landing gears etc. To perform these actions, they require licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. There are 114 MROs in India and as the number of aircraft in air is increasing day-by-day,
they surely need more expert hands of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers in coming days.
Candidates who have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to join any Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course at any institute approved by DGCA. The upper age limit to join the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
program is 23 except if you have done a three-year diploma course in any engineering program or BSc after 12th. The licences issued by the DGCA are for a particular type of aircraft and you will be required to train for each type of aircraft
to get the licence for a wide range of aircrafts.
