Sha-Shib Group has the expertise in providing various academic and professional courses in UG and PG level for the last 30 years. The group has now owns many organizations and companies related to the aviation field which is helpful for training and placement of aspiring aircraft maintenance engineering students.
We have Legal Tie ups with DGCA CAR 145 approved MROs like Air India, Go Air, Airworks, TAAL, Indamer, etc. for prviding practical experience to the students studying in our institutions.
We have 15+ Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, 40+ technicians, 40+ managers, 100+ instructors who will mentor the students in getting on track with academics, practical knowledge, guidance for better results in DGCA module exams and hands-on experience as prescribed in CAR to work as licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in B1 and B2 category.
We have a total number of 21 functional aircraft consisting of heavy and light aeroplanes of different categories positioned at our different institutes. Since we have many institutes across India, the students visit other institutes of our group for better exposure in various types of functional aircraft thus enabling them to learn the tricks of the trade.
There are numerous students from the Sha-Shib Group working across worldwide in national and international aviation sector as many of our institutes are providing CAR 147 basic training. Hence the student gets filled with the motivation by interacting with the sector on all level and proves useful for their success in achieving their goal.
Being the largest group we have sufficient manpower / knowledge bank / mock up test papers / pooling of qualitative lecturers etc which makes us deliver the best. We have the Sha-Shib Training division where we recruit new instructors and our mentors train them so as to provide additional instructors to various bases. It is the group which set a benchmark of 100% result in India during the DGCA AME written examination of Paper 1 in 2004 in one centre and it helped us to continue to give good results till now. We publish our own training Notes prepared under the guidance of the Academic council of our group. We have a huge question bank from the institutes which helps conducting test series for the preparation of DGCA Exam which makes them get good results.
The group’s own flying club at Guna is equipped to give early exposure to students on Air Operation, Maintenance, CAMO and ground operation activities on a regular basis. There is an option available for the ones to become a pilot along with the current course.
We have our presence at six different airports/airstrips in Chhindwara, Ratlam, Hossur, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar for carrying out aviation activities and in Guna airport where we run flying club to give more exposure to the students.
We have 4 MROs (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) under CAR 145 approved by DGCA at 7 different locations. Students are trained here from time to time under our own experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers which really plays a vital role in understanding aircraft maintenance and the allied aviation activities. In our MROs we provide exposure to the actual maintenance works on how the work is being carried. This gives a better understanding to the students about the subject as well as about the professional field.
All the training institutes of the group are equipped with world-class infrastructure with ample and necessary facilities. Aircraft engine shop, Aircraft Airframe Shop, Aircraft Instrument shop, Aircraft Radio shop, aircraft electrical shop etc. along with functional aircraft are positioned at each base.
Successful Students get employment in various national and international airlines like IndiGo,Go Airway, Air India, SpiceJet, Blue Dart, FedEx, Central and State Government maintenance organisations, Various flying clubs, Various Maintenance Repair Overhaul Organisation, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO), Technical Publications, Various training institutions approved under CAR 147 (Basic) and Type rated, maintenance division of Air cargo services, Air Ambulance Services, Chartered flights etc. There are approximately 18 scheduled airlines, 101 non- scheduled operators, 32 flying clubs, 114 MRO/AMO and several other organisations for making your career in the aviation sector in India apart from the International Aviation industry.
We have the in house placement opportunity for the well deserving students. We place them in the Sha-Shib Group whenever we see a deserving and willing candidate in our various MROs ,flying club ,CAMO etc.
We have more than 15 licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers contributing to the overhaul development of the students . We at Sha-Shib Group also groom the students in terms of their personality development, discipline, communication skill, soft skill etc. to prepare the students to get through the interview conducted by various organizations time to time.
